As a kid, the local park was a huge part of my everyday life, and I’ve continued to have a real fondness for the shared green spaces that get us out doing stuff and, crucially, seeing and mixing with other people. This documentary photography celebrates what is now my local park: Eaton Park in the west of Norwich. Shot over the course of a year that ended as Lockdown began to ease in July 2020, they partly represent the way in which the role of green spaces in keeping us all well, both physically and mentally, suddenly felt so much more important.
