/ Jewish Museum Berlin

It is poignant that the first Jewish Museum in Berlin opened 90 years ago, 6 days before the Nazi’s officially gained power. It’s subsequent evolution to record, explain and document the life of Jewish lives in Germany has become now a significant European visit for any anybody. Daniel Libeskind designed an extension wing (2001). I visited is this space heart of Berlin, in the Kreuzberg district on August 15th 2023. My personal journey records visitors experiences in this space. I try to remove the context and noise of the space and concentrate on the quiet contemplation and thoughts of the people present, a testimomy to the quality of the building and importance of subject.
