Cedar Communications needed a set of striking but sensitively shot portraits to document a conference held by their client, the Royal Society of Arts. I not only had to work without impinging on a live event but also had to deal with the challenge of shooting people in low light, and with them sat on a specially constructed lightbox-style stage.
