October 18 Newsletter images – Data drawn from bodies including the International Labour Organisation in 2017 tells us that women now make up just under half of the UK labour market (46.5 per cent). It’s surprising, then, how many corporate campaigns fail to reflect the equal visibility of women in the contemporary workplace. However, many of my clients are keen to address this imbalance. In response, I stick to business as usual: trying to take interesting and unforced images of people doing their jobs – but with that 46.5 per cent now uppermost in my mind.
