Nuffield wanted a set of images for their client publications and other marketing materials that created the impression of a stylish yet friendly workout space. Shooting real customers and staff in a variety of spaces, I had to work quickly to gain people's trust as well as look for different ways to make visually dynamic images out of utilitarian equipment.
Serco Group
For this shoot for the magazine of Serco Group – one of the world's leading public services companies – I had to get very close to the action with Birmingham Airport's Fire and Rescue Service. Documentary images detailed live drills shot in real time, with no second chances, and significant safety considerations to work around.
